Student Athlete: Marlon Arlos
Marlon Arlos, is a member of the Mapua Institute of Technology Track and Field Team. He is currently in his third (3) year at the Institute taking BS in Psychology.
Marlon Arlos started playing for the Red and Gold back in 2005. Three years later, he had won numerous awards in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, where MIT is a member school.

UST Coliseum
University of Santo Tomas, a member of University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) will have their own coliseum.

Mapua EEC Summer Outing 2008 was held at White Rock, Subic, Zambales last Saturday, May 31, 2008.

Mapua students killed in brawl
Two students of the Mapua Institute of Technology were killed after they were attacked by a group of unidentified men in Intramuros, Manila, on Saturday night.Jose Marie Villareal, 19, of Pasay City, died as he was being treated at the Seaman Hospital while Raymund Gino, 21, of Taguig City, was declared dead on arrival at the Ospital ng Maynila.
