May 01-02,2010 – My friends Mhike, Glad, Gio, Jose, and I decided to watch Iron Man 2. Glad reserved tickets through SureSeats for the last full show (LFS) at TriNoMa then we met at the mall around 9 and ate dinner at Kenny Rogers. While eating, we talked about the new Nike watch of Gio, Mayweather and his fight against Mosley, the eye candies passing by, and our friend Tonio who just arrived from abroad. Glad suddenly interrupted and suggested that we go to Tagaytay, I don’t know where it came from but at that moment I think it’s a nice idea considering Monday’s a holiday.

I also thought that since Mhike brought his ride, if ever we decided to push through with Glad’s idea we can cut cost on our transportation. It’s funny, though, at the back of my head I don’t think it will push. Glad invited Tonio, Alex, and the rest of our friends. While waiting for their response and with some time to spare before the movie screening, we decided to shoot some hoops at Time Zone.

The show should have ended earlier instead of late-ish 12:30, thanks to two screening interruptions for that! No, I won’t spoil you if you haven’t watched the movie yet, all I’d like to say is — I want Tony Stark’s phone!

Tonio and Wil confirmed to go with us so we started the unplanned road trip and picked them up. After more than two hours of travel, at 3:30 AM,  we’re finally at Tagaytay. We stopped to eat taho and then looked for a place to stay but there seemed to be no place open at that hour. For the meantime then, we parked beside Starbucks to rest and decide where we’re going to stay.

At the parking, I called my mom if we can crash into my cousin’s house but she said it’s better to crash into my sister’s mother-in-law’s house instead. I called my sister and asked if we can crash there, she said that she’ll have to ask her mother-in-law first and that the caretaker don’t know me and wouldn’t let us in, she also said that the house is too far from where we’re at. So I asked them if it’s OK to find the place and they said they don’t mind (part of joyride!).  I replied to my sister that it’s fine with us to look for the house and she gave the address.

Nagtanong kami sa guard kung paano pumunta dun sa address na iyon and he said it’s about thirty minutes from where we are. Sabi nya dun daw sa may intersection na pa-letter T. We head to the road and looked for the intersection pero mukhang lahat kami inaantok na kaya lumagpas kami, we realized that we’re lost when we’re greeted with a lot of signs saying Batangas!

We headed back at may nakasalubong kaming manong, nagtanong kami sa kanya and he said to travel approximately 1.5 KM hanggang may makita kaming makakaliwaang daan. Again, we missed it at nagtanong kami sa mga lasing na lalaki doon. Lagpas na nga raw kami, sabi nila. Tinuro nila kung saan kami dapat lumiko at na malapit na lang daw yung hinahanap namin.

At last! Nakita na namin.

Pinakausap ko si Mang Amado sa ate ko at pinapasok kami sa bahay. Sa loob, itinuloy namin ang inuman at kwentuhan. Hanggang sa nagyaya magswimming si Wil. Habang nasa pool sina Gio at Wil nakaupo lang kami sa labas. Nang matapos sila maligo nag-aya ako maglaro sa trampoline.

First time!

Nuon lang ako nakaranas maglaro sa trampoline. Masarap pala! Para kong si War Machine sa Iron Man 2, nangangapa.

Pagkatapos maglaro sa trampoline, mga 7:15 AM, ay nagpaalam na kaming umalis. Plano naming mag breakfast ng bulalo pero lahat walang imik, tila nakatulog na habang dinadaanan namin ang mga kainan. Nakauwi kami sa Maynila mga 9 ng umaga.

Buti pa ang biglaang lakad, natutuloy! Pero ang planado, hindi!

The event, Buhay Coke ng Bloggers with SM Hypermarket was held last June 27, 2008 at Taste Asia at the Mall of Asia.

I registered myself when I saw Aileen’s blog and her entry about it.

I invited my friends to join with me and they did. Jay, Marikon, Jose and Jason went with me and feasted on the foods and Cokes at Taste Asia.

Taste of Asia serves good food. I like their grilled thingies.

Metrowalk boasts numerous bars and restaurants. It also has some shops for various sorts of items. It is approximately one (1) kilometer away from SM Megamall.

For all I know, we were supposed to hang-out at TriNoMa. I was confused when Alzate said we should go to Metrowalk to meet the kids. I insisted that TriNoMa was the right place, and I was correct.

Yes, we (Carla, Anthony, Jazz, Tonio, Alex, Alzate, and Me) met at TriNoMa. There, we ate our dinner at Jollibee and talked a bit and then the decided to go to Metrowalk, where Will and Audrey will meet us.

We (they) had some beer and foods while keeping each other up-to-speed.

I can’t remember when was the last time we had a laugh with him but I’m glad James joined us this night.

Carla, Anthony, Audrey and I left around 12:30 while the others hanged out little bit more. It’s short but definitely a fun Friday night at Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
