San Beda Sea Lions San Beda Red Sea Lions once again drew strength from Theody Gavino when they won their ninth straight swimming title in the Seniors Division of NCAA Swimming Tournament. San Beda’s nine-year reign is the longest since the Mapua Splashing Cardinals collected 17 straight swimming titles.

Playing it’s first game in the second round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, the Mapua Cardinals was outscored by the Arellano Chiefs. Mapua Institute of Technology finished with 72 points against Arellano’s 76 points at The Arena, San Juan. Although I am a Mapuan, I am not in favor for bad behavior.
