My Blogging Idol

Since I started writing online, I’ve had numerous struggles. About my site, my rank, my content, etc. There’s so many things to consider. But, I always try to find ways to improve and learn how to be a better netizen. A better blogger, if you may.

Let’s take a look at my Alexa Rank for example. Back then, my Alexa rank was 1,311,140 and right now, it’s 654, 500. Soon, hopefully, I could break into the 500K rank.

Why do I keep blogging? There are numerous reason. One thing I could think of right now are the people inspiring me to keep blogging. To know who they are, I’m going to tell you.

Our Awesome Planet – He’s my inspiration about life

The Bull Runner – She’s my inspiration about sports

Ironwulf - He’s my inspiration about travel

Derek Punsalan – He’s my inspiration about design

Carl – He’s my inspiration about earning money

Pinoy Cook – One of my favorite local food sites

Wilson – He’s my inspiration about entrepreneurship

Bikoy – Fellow student blogger

Jay Paloma – He’s my inspiration about technology. He’s a Microsoft MVP and author of Security is a State of Mind

Yes, all of them are Filipino. I sure have non-Filipino idols but that’s for a different story.

Student Athlete

Galwin Fabian is the man behind The Student Athlete. He is a student, an athlete, a blogger, traveler, and a technologist. As a student, he is currently in his last year as Computer Engineering student at Mapua Institute of Technology. As an athlete, he is a swimmer and the captain of MIT Table Tennis Team.

    I was really impressed how Carl topped the most competitive keyword in the internet marketing niche. What’s more impressive is that he is Filipino and he is only 13.

    His accomplishments really placed our country in the map of affiliate marketing and no one can deny that.
